How we do things

Supporting individuals across all stages of life.

At Free Flight Health Services, our nursing supports are designed to make care clearer, safer, and more consistent.

A nursing care plan is more than a document. It gives families, support workers, nurses, allied health professionals, and carers a shared understanding of how a participant should be supported day to day.

Our nurses take the time to understand the participant’s health needs, routines, communication, preferences, risks, and support environment. From there, we create practical care plans that help guide daily support, reduce confusion, and ensure care is delivered in a way that protects dignity, safety, and independence.

Where appropriate, our nurses also work alongside our Speech Pathologists, Support Coordinators, families, support workers, and external providers to ensure the participant’s care needs are understood as part of their broader life and support network.

Nursing Care Plans

A clear care plan can make a significant difference when multiple people are involved in a participant’s support.

Our nurses create tailored care plans that outline the participant’s routines, health needs, preferences, risks, and support instructions so families, staff, and providers have clear guidance to follow.

We can assist with:

  • Developing new nursing care plans

  • Reviewing and updating existing care plans

  • Documenting daily routines and care needs

  • Providing information that may support NDIS planning and review discussions
